UNIVERSAL MARINE - CAREERS

We are seeking pro-active, talented individuals with a commercial mind-set to join our team. The candidates will be working alongside the managing director in actively seeking and identifying business opportunities within ship sale and purchase (S&P), chartering, projects and maritime technical sales. We focus on dry-bulk, offshore, heavy-lift, towage and small-scale LNG segments. The candidates will be working with marketing, sales and business leads as well as maintaining and expanding the company’s network of partners, customers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Shipping, Transportation or Business Administration.

  • Keen interest to work in the maritime shipping & offshore industry.

  • Commercial business oriented mind-set.

  • International experience is desirable.

  • Fluency in English, both written and oral. Japanese, Chinese or Spanish language is an advantage.

  • Knowledge and experience with BIMCO charter parties is an advantage.

  • Chartering and/or operational experience desirable.

  • Participate in client meetings and exhibitions local and abroad.

  • Structured and can work independently.

  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

  • MS office skills (intermediate excel desirable).
